It's not just one-on-one buddies that God uses to bless families with disabilities! The Great Getaway Leadership Team works together to prayerfully plan for our next year of camp. Joining the Leadership Team is a great way to serve with the unique gifts and skills God has given you. You'll also get a front-row seat to watch God work in amazing ways to bring everything together for a life-changing week for families affected by disability.
Leadership Team members arrive on Sunday to set up before GGMs arrive for training on Monday. (Families arrive on Tuesday.) They also meet together in the months leading up to the Great Getaway to brainstorm, strategize, and prepare.
The Leadership Team helps to plan specific areas of programming and hold positions to help make camp function such as:

nurses

behavioral specialist(s)

hospitality desk

camp pastor
-
waterfront coordinator

recreation coordinator
-
GGM coordinator's assistant
-
evening event planners (welcome celebration, hoedown, parent/caregiver night)

photographers

videographers
-
etc.
GGM Cost:
$475 per adult before May 1, 2023
$525 per adult after May 1, 2023

Be Prepared!
Before registering, contact the director to make sure your desired position is still available.
Please read the Hurdling Handicaps Statement of Faith before registering.
When you register, you will be asked some basic informational questions. Please be prepared with contact information for three references (friend, professional, pastoral), plus medical info, emergency contact information, etc.
You can save your registration and can come back to it after creating a profile with basic contact information.

• Clicking “I don’t know my ManagedMissions login" or “I don’t have a ManagedMissions login” will ask you to enter in your email address. It will then send you an email to click a link to set a password and redirect you to the application link. (Click "Set My Password")
• Once you are logged in, fill out the application/registration for yourself and submit the application.
Please also be prepared to pay a $50 deposit.
